Notes, Musings and Ideas……

During the Week of Christian Unity the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul is celebrated Jan 25.  St. Paul is the foundational spirit of the movement that evangelized the gentile world and cemented the rupture of Christianity with its Jewish roots.  Moreover, the writings of St. Paul, in his way of interpreting the Torah has led unfortunately to a pivotal movement of understanding the Catholicity of grace (as shared within Jewish Rabbinic thoughts) that caused another rupture to Christian unity by Martin Luther’s misreading Romans.  Regardless of the lay of the land in Christendom, we know that the rivalries and plethora of Christian denominations undermine the credibility of the faith.  For that reason, humility is the only antidote for Christians to one day seek the truth of Jesus’ desire that “they all may be one.”
